Has anybody had experience using a bore or cleaning rod guide for the Marlin levers?

A quick search indicates that Brownell's sells one.

I remove the lever and bolt and work from the action side instead of the muzzle.

I'm talking about a bore guide that goes in the chamber from the rear of the action.

Less cleaners/lubes back into the action and on the wood?

Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

That, and less cleaning rod wear on the throat area.

I have a Guide gun, and use a bore guide when cleaning the bore.
