I was working up a deal through a Beretta rep on a CX4 Storm carbine and everything was golden until he didn't have "ANY" to ship... Then I contacted a buddy of mine to see if any of his distributors had them; again "zero." So I contacted Beretta directly through a program and they had "zero" with a note that lead the customer service person to state, "They must be discontinuing this item #."

Have any of you guys seen or heard of this???

I haven't heard that... They're good little carbines.

Maybe they plan to contact me to help make them like they "should be"

I think limited magazine selection killed them. I would have bought one in .45, if I could have gotten more than a 10 round 8 rd mag for it.

I bought one in 40 S&W that used the Cougar magazines. They offered parts to convert the grips to accept other mags, but actually getting them from Beretta was the problem. Now they are relatively easy to get, but of course I sent it down the road before that was the case. Loved shooting it BTW. After problems with Beretta USA "customer service", I will never buy any of their products again.

If they did discontinue them I am sure they will show up at one of the clear out specialists like CDNN fairly soon. It wouldn't hurt to call them on the phone and see if they have some.

May be and explanation: Beretta got a very big order from India police services for more than 40 000 CX4 Carbine in 9mm. It will occupy the production lines for a moment. Add some other police contracts and it seem you have a possible...
