What usually happens to Lunds is the rivets pound themselves loose. Plus the low freeboard is not the best for bucking waves.

Yes sorta of, its called working rivets. But they can be drilled out and new Ice Box rivets installed.

No good way to pack fuel in one either, other than to wallow around in it like a [bleep].

I wonder how many rocks there are in that country and how many extra props would be requisite? Likely the tide swings are modest. Also wonder if the OP has any qualm with Private Property boundaries or is of the mindset to pay heed, let alone differentiate where/how they lay?

The camera is a great idea,as I can see where there'd be much humor inherent.

Boxer-

I have a GPS with an AK chip with all bondaries so tresspassing not an issue. Plus 3 maps

I have had a lund for 40 years and no problems with it but maybe I lucked out.

Boxer I would like to hire you as a consultant for my future hunting and fishing trips.

Have a 20 mile archery elk pack-in in OR in Sept. What is your advice? Should I cancel the trip because of wolves and bear? If I paint my bow pink will it aid in accuracy and will it cause an attraction to young men?

Also have a mule deer /elk hunt in Alberta in Oct. Is that a good time to go Boxer? Does the elk and deer rut coincide? Will an elk breed a deer?

Any of your wisdom is much appreciated. And if you can mix your wisdom in with random profanity and illlogical strings of thought it would be even more appreciated. eek

'ka,

I'd be interested in the particulars associated with your GPS with the AK chip, that denotes property boundaries. Were I to ever be lucky enough to get to AK,I think that would be very handy. A link to the particulars, sure would be nice.

As a curiousity,in which Ocean did you Seek & Destroy from within a Lund for 40yrs? Thanks!

I've never been to Orygun, but luckily for you,Elk all but glow in the dark, make a trail akin to a D8 and can be smelled from a goodly distance to boot. Try the paint, perhaps it'll work as well for you as your [bleep] whine?!? Never been to Canuckia,if only because I don't speak Spanish and do not care to learn.

You flatter yourself,to Imagine I'd slum so low as to suffer your company.

'Boater,

If I lived closed to an Ocean and were I compelled to dabble in same from a boat,my Shopping List wouldn't denote: "Procure the cheesiest piece of lightweight [bleep] schit you can find...and put rivets in it". They are bargain basement dog schit, nothing more and nothing less. I'd not want a riveted Drift Boat either, but I'm funny that way.

For conversation,an 18' JetCraft will take 115 prop ponies.

It were a Fair to Middlin' Squirrel Hunt today, but I couldn't catch any Largemouth. Might have to wait until the Hens are setting atop their nests in protective company,to arrange any cooperation. Kept catching some Hatchery Trout however and they kept my Wingman busy on a Hookie Day.

Spied a fair sized Squirrel this afternoon, but couldn't get a good read on the ears so we passed.

dumbphucka,

I very much enjoy how you harness all of your Imagination and practice Pretend,by pulling "ideas" dead square out of your ass, like you've even the faintest of [bleep] clues. Must say that the humor is much magnified, because it's the best you can do!

Happiness is putting fingerprints on fish at daybreak.

As an aside,I'm enjoying the awkward silence associated with your "Boundary Chip" and inability to concoct an Ocean in which you floated a Lund for 40 [bleep] years.

I'd pay $20 for a DVD of you trying to sneak up on a glass of [bleep] water, you amazingly clueless [bleep] buffoon. The depths of your stupidity, would make the Grand Canyon look like a dent in a hub cap.

Wow +P.

This dink was around #30 for the day, I like finger [bleep]. Then again I have lots of experience with handling fish.

Wow a 50 fish "career". Let me guess, you rate a Blue Parking Permit too?

Was very much enjoying the Imaginary "law",nearly as much as your Imaginary everything [bleep] else. Though in fairness, the Boundary Chip and 40yr Ocean Lund is tough to trump.

Looking forward to the next installment of your vivid [bleep] Imagination and the "scenes" from Pretend Land.

Laffin'!

ptarmigan,

I'm far more of the hands-on persuasion myself and ain't much into Spectator Sports.

I'd mention that I've several rods with over 1000 Steelhead each on 'em,but Day Dreaming Prissy Bitches would hold her breath and stomp her itty-bitty feet all over again.

Oops.(grin)

have to admit sweet pics but where is the pink rifle?

catching a small steelhead in AK with a Zebco 202 and an ugly stick as about as difficult as shooting aone year old wt doe with a 270 or catching a bluegill off of a dock in WI.

My holy grail is a 40 inch steelhead swinging a fly.
Already have a 50 inch striper on a fly and a 55 inch taimen caught on a fly 80 miles N of norilsk Russia . Norilsk Russia makes Alaska look like Central Park NYC Boxer. Gey colored rifles not required. grin

I must admit at one time I was a purist, 40" ala sage tcr890 with a maxima 8# leader.

But now I get jiggy with it and my catch rates now keep me interested in fishing.

Awesome fish.

I've been up once in September, and it was a trip to remember. What is the best time of year for steelies? My new girl likes to fish a lot more than my old wife did.
