Went cross-country skiing with my youngest son earlier today, and we ran across some mule deer. It was pretty cool. They showed virtually no fear of us. My son with a deer, pretty doggone close: I slowed, to let this one cross: Me: Thought you guys would enjoy.

Now if you could only get them to relax like that during hunting season. Very cool picts, thanks for sharing.

I'll have to post some images of the wife trying to chase them away from her bird feeders. When they see her come out, they run in from a quarter mile away.

One Minute: I've done some hunting and photography work around Madras and Redmond. I can relate to your situation with the bird feeders. Nice, isn't it? Maverick

Now if you could only get them to relax like that during hunting season. Very cool picts, thanks for sharing. I got about that close to a doe during elk season in WY. It wasn't even looking at me. Turns out it was looking at a couple of bulls. The rare pointing muley. Just need to train them to lift a front hoof.
If you love someone set them free If they come back no one else liked them Set them free again

Put our big mean Norwich terrier out after about a dozen this evening. They would run around her and right back to the corn board the wife puts out for quail.

Cool pictures. Hopefully I will get to hunt a mule deer this fall.
