Them cast boolits won't shoot accurately and will lead the hell out of your barrel. You shouldn't use them. Send all of your alloy to me and I'll get rid of that toxicc asset for you.

yea, you'd still be amazed what I hear in that respect. I had a guy at the hunt club tell me I can't shoot cast lead out of my rifle at 2400fps without having to 'scrub' the barrel afterwards. I offered to let him shoot my gun but on the condition he had to shoot it 50 times and then check for leading. He declined. I suppose he didn't want to go through 50rnds of kick you on your butt ammo out of my 7lb 35 whelen with full house loads.

[img:center] [/img] This is the bottom of a beer box I was shooting at off hand, 55 yards, to see if I was close to the right charge for the sites. 98 GEW 9x57 Mauser. Ideal Mold 358318 245 gr. RNGC, I want to sand bag it tomorrow if the powers to be will leave me alone. Reformed 8mm Remintons, necked up to 9.3 first, then down to 9mm. If I dont do this the have to small of a shoulder to form correctly. I am using 4197 Brigadier powder, 29.0 grs. it likes it. If I push it to fast, it shoots high. Sized to .359! Around 1700 fps. All fired at 100 yds., all with aperture sights. most off the bench, but some fired prone using a sling for support (as noted): Gotta love em... 35WN

Hey NSAQAM, Larry is very "IN", LOL You also dishonor the 28th division by using the unit patch as an insult. As for the liar, welcher Bricktop, his day is fast approaching. Coward trolls won't accept PMs. How's the phantom "campfire" coming ?

MON (minute of neck) at 100yds 1899 Savage carbine 30-30 150gr Loverin 311466 MON, I love it and it leaves paper accuracy for dead. This is the result of one of my soft lead 370gn bullets at 1400fps passing through a goat. We had got onto a mob of goats and got quite a few.The 404 accounted for its share and the cast bullet was very effective. Von Gruff.
