A butcher friend of me and Chris' is grinding up top sirloin and packing it with cheddar cheese and real bacon bits for 30 delicious burgers. He will also be giving us a assortment of sausages and brats. He'll pack it all up for us and after a quick stop by a local grocery store to fill the gaps,we'll not starve our first night.

Steve,Allen and Pat are the bosses for each night thereafter. Trust me,though...no one starves and, most often, folks gain weight at these affairs.

Bring your own drinks you like, coolers, maybe some chairs if you're driving and you're own preferred snack foods to tie you over for late, late night and hunting.

I'll stop by Costco and get the gallon containers of Alleve, Pepto and a mix of fine, grape and bubble-gum stogies!

Should any of you gents that are flying need anything,I'll be staying in Kodak my first night at the ?? hotel right next to Bass Pro Shops and there are plenty of stores from there and camp.Give me a ring and I will do my best to accommodate any "REASONABLE" request.

Safe travels to all. My cell number is 703.200.1464.

Thanks Steve.

And yes Bobby, thought I would round up some homemade plum, muscadine, and apple butter for hot biscuits or flapjacks wink

You're certainly worthy of borrowing mine, even for Africa. My PH loved that glass but I'm savvy to that guide gift suggestion gig and wouldn't have anything of it. If you borrow mine, you can't either,Dan.

Between you and Steve,I'm sure Keith was quite happy. Watching Pat do what he does to a 12 dollar cigar will make one cry...from laughing so hard. Never saw anyone shotgun a cigar before. Wonder where he learned that technique!

Sounds like a lot of fun guys. You'll be about two hours east of home for me, and in my opinion, one of the prettiest places on earth. Maybe one of these days I can join up with you for a hunt in the area. I'll be watching for the reports, and everyone have a good time and be safe.

Portsider,

I had talked to Steve about possibly setting up a carppool, but I'm going to be going to NY from VT (training) instead of across Brattleboro like I normally would.

If taking anything on the plane is going to be a PIA for you, let me know and I'm sure I can find a day to roll down your way and make arrangements to get what needs getting.

George

Since you've got the first night pretty well dialled, maybe Steve, Allen or Pat can give a shout as to anything I can contribute on the drive from Indiana.

Teri and I are sure going to miss not seeing all the good folks that will attend this shindig but prior longstanding commitments have kept us out of this one. We hope you guys have a great time!

Well Dana...since you and Teri have been two of everyone's favorites at these events, your absences will be noticed. I still talk about your dove triple!

Next time,maybe!
