I have hunted most of the boar camps in TN and Wilderness is my favorite.

arrgghhh. It's been raining two days here, and I have two rifles to zero.  Besides the .480 I'll try to bring a couple of interesting pistols for folks to try.

Hey Guys,
I'll be leaving for the Wilderness on Tuesday morning and arrive there that afternoon. I want to check things out to make sure we are good to go on Wednesday when everyone arrives.
If you need to reach me from Tuesday on, my cell # is 301-509-3905. Cell phone service in that area is spotty at best. I do know that it works well if you stand right in front of the lodge where we are going to stay. So I'll go by there periodically to check for messages.
Before Tuesday, you can just PM me or Pugs or Bob.
Remember to bring your blaze orange stuff, and don't forget the blue tape.

Are drive-byes welcome? I will be driving SC to DC and might just have to divert from the usual highways and byways.

I will mention for any of you needing last minute gear or such...at about exit 290 off of I-40 there is a medium sized gun shop sporting goods store...fairly well stocked. I stop by just to visit and snoop when I can. I believe the name is Outdoor junction?

The .338 Federal Hawkeye is confirmed and still dead-nuts. I changed loads in the SBL and need to tweak it again. I need to remember to shoot the ghost-rings before the scoped rifle next time to avoid getting aggravated....
