I'm no great 75 S2 fan,but a guy can do worse. In my 7,8 and 9" 22-250AI's...Re-15 is THE ticket from 40's to 80's. In my 223's and 223AI's,it's '335. All throats are kissing them squarely and due their schit profile/proud ogive,they'll whistle through all mag boxes,up to and including MilSpec Gassers. Most will find that far better news than I.

The 62 TSX/TTSX is a vastly superior choice and I couldn't formulate a single reason to whirl the S2 over either of those X's. Have mentioned before that the 62TTSX's profiling disappointed me,as I'd much prefer something far more svelte which was(is) certainly doable. Just adding a polymer tip to the existing profile,would have horned me up far more...but it is,what it is.






In regards to the S2,I'd not be suplized to learn that fouling was a likely issue,due their shank length and construction. I like everyone else I know,gun 'em moly coated.

Just for conversation purposes, Swift is coming out with a .224 62 gr. Scirocco.. Should work for the 1-9 AR's.

Don't know what it brings beyond the Powerpoint or Gameking in the same weight range, but I think I'll give them a shot at some point.
