Good morning,
I think the best camera for you is the Samsung L55W. Your price is $289.99 including shipping in the USA. Big screen, longest zoom in the smallest size and 5 mega-pixel.

Samsung's Digimax L55W, a compact 5-megapixel digital camera with 4.8x optical zoom, features a 2.8" wide LCD screen that supports both the 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios. The sophisticated display uses up to 16.7 million color and is quite viewable outdoors due to the company's TMR (Transmissive with Micro Reflective) technology, which maintains balanced light in a variety of viewing environments. The new LCD display is easily viewed at angles of up to 160 degrees off center.

The L55W's zoom lens has the 35mm equivalent focal length of 28mm to 135mm. It also has the ability to capture subjects as close as .79", using a macro mode that automatically detects the camera to subject distance. Its bootup and single shot times are 1 second each and a continuous shooting mode supports up to 2.5 frames a second.

Although a digital still camera, the Digimax L55W also works like a camcorder. It supports the MPEG-4 video format, which uses high-compression to record up to 3 to 4 times longer than other video formats. That translates into more than 1 hour of VGA (640 by 480 pixels) video at 30 frames a second when using a 256 MB memory card. The new camera also has movie stabilization, which automatically detects and corrects for user shake. Video recording can be paused, resumed and then merged into a single file.

The Digimax L55W includes several special effect functions and 11 scene modes. It supports PictBridge enabled printers and SD/MMC storage cards.

Thank you
If there is anything else that I can assist you with please let me know.
