Thanks! More than one Italian maker of Sharps clones. What maker and what configuration. A picture would help. DF

Several years ago, I picked up a used Pedersoli .45-70 that Cabelas imported at one time. It's pretty fancy and shoots like a Sharps. Seriously, the Pedersoli Sharps have wonderful barrels and don't give up much regarding performance and accuracy to their more expensive cousins, the C. Sharps and Shiloh Sharps. I'm sure some will howl at that statement, for sure after spending big bucks on theirs... The sights are aftermarket, not Pedersoli. DF

The Pedersoli's are good shooters. I have 2 of them.

Here's my carbine They called this one the 1874 Deluxe Target Rifle. The top picture looks like my rifle..... mine says on the barrel, US Sharps rifle co. Meriden Conn. on the side of the barrel it looks like IAB Marcheno Made in Italy. On the top behind the sight it say Sile New york, NY. Any info about this rifle and a serious value is appreciated.

That's exactly what I gave for this one a week ago. My uncle died and his daughters wanted to sell his guns to raise some money so I offered them 600.00 for it. Guess it was an ok deal not a great deal or a bad one then. Thanks for the info....

If it's in good shape, it would probably bring that. I love mine.
