I am asking a favor here. I know it may be pissing in the wind, but will you guys please sign this petition to oppose the senate bill that will forever ban the hunting of bears and bobcats in California using hounds? It only takes a minute, you can click on the box to hide your personal info if you like. We are losing our hunting heritage so rapidly here in this state, I want to try to save something for the kids besides just stories of the good old days... Done...Cali is one of the few places left where bears can be chased by hounds. Idaho has had this very same threat before in years past, I believe in 1996.

You are correct DH it was 1996 and the anti's made no secret lions were next on the list. Fortunately the Idaho hunters got the ball rolling in time to stop the initiative that would have banned all spring bear hunting. Up until that point, a ban of this nature going to vote had never been defeated in any state.

I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.
