I have one. Several. One of them is putting up 4 cords of firewood for next winter! But you mean "job" as in something that pays you even while you dick around on the 'net. My job doesn't do that, sad to say. Only kouch [bleep] jobs do that. Yeah, sounds like you got it going on. Steal wood from logging sites and wait for food stamps. Way to go? Dick around on the net? This from Mr. 23000 posts? I guess you can thank me later for paying taxes to fund your "jobs". Gotta love liberal Oregon folks. Lead on Jeff, you are winning........ Your pal wageslave Food stamps? Snork. I'm self employed. I'll be working later today. This wood isn't stolen. Anything else you need swatted out of the park?

I've seen pics of Jeff at work and he runs a manual mill for hours on end. I told him to invest in a CNC model but it just isn't in the financial cards right now.
Splitting wood sucks badly too. For me anyway. I have at least 80 wooded acres and a woodstove but I'll pay the oilman to fill up my tank rather than cut, split and stack wood.

Seriously, this time of year I have 4 main jobs. First, make some money. I am lucky in that I can do that at night or when it's raining. Next, get in the firewood. That's for real. It's how we heat our house and it's how I manage my woodlot, and it's great exercise. Next, get the garden in. It's around 2/3- 3/4 of an acre and we get a TON of real, high quality food from it, but it's a lot of work. Finally, be Dad. Always lots to do on that front. That's how I roll, yo. Don't knock it till you try it.

So after all the enlightening information, I think I am going to bore out one of my 223s, to a 22/204 instead of a 223 AI... seems to offer better benefits..and performance... and then I have a 6mm barrel coming with a 1 in 12 twist... that is going to be chambered in a 6/204... isn't it great how much one can learn from threads like this?

Stick will program a function key for you, too! CNC would/will be nice. A whole other world. We will see. This isn't a major manufacturing area and it's pretty saturated with CNC shops... I like splitting wood! Good honest work. You got 80 acres? That is awesome. Can you hunt it?

I can only hunt it with my bow and with shotgun (shot only, no slugs).

Whatever happened to you being a real estate agent? Didn't work out with all the hope and change you voted for?

I'm going to hunt my land (seriously) this year for the first time, assuming I get the tag. It's been a deer haven too long! If my tag-puzzle goes together right I'll have a SWEET blacktail tag for my land, and a sweet mulie tag too.

I was darn good at it, but it's a FUBAR mess right now, and I can use my time mo' better than listening to needy people whine about real estate.
It's more fun to listen to someone like you whine! While you aren't an object of affection, you are HIGHLY amusing.
