this wasnt one of my better days. I had an awfull day at school, After school I get into the jeep and head to work. As i started getting closer to the ranch the rain turned into slush.

The road ended up haveing about 3 inches of slush on it before i got to the snow. Well I havnt had enough cash put together to buy tires for the jeep, And their getting a little bald, and of course I didnt have my chains in it either. So i put it in 4wd and slowed her down a lil more. pretty soon the snow got to about 6-8 inches on the road and i was cutting my own tracks. I had it down to about 30mph an still in 4wd everything seemed fine. Until the corner. I let off the gas like ussual and started making my turn. But it didnt turn, I went straight across both lanes and into a tree. I put it into 4 low and tried to back out but it didnt work. I was teetering on the edge of a steep bank and things just werent happening.

So i got out and was going to use the come-along to get me out when a guy stopped. So i ended up hooking a strap onto his F-250 superduty pick-up and he dropped her into 4 low and started spinning all tires. So i jumped into the jeep and started it up. Put her in 4low an tried backing up wile he was pulling. I got enuff movement that he could start pulling me. Well as he was pulling the front end swung around and dropped down that incline. However were were moving and werent goona stop cuz we probly wouldnt get started again. The jeep kept slinding down the incline while he was pulling me up. It ended up dragging a tree down both doors on the passenger side. However i wasnt stuck.

So i thanked the guy and shook his hand and off we went. I finally got to work They had 10" in their driveway. My boss came out and aasked me if i had got the message on my cell phone. I hadnt so i checked it. And it was her telling me not to show up to work today on account of the snow. Ok so i turned around and ended up getting stuck at the end of the driveway. Thankfully somebody plowing the road on a D6 cat let me hook on a tow strap.

What a day.

DANG - glad you are ok -- I would seriously be looking for a set of chains or used snow tires Little late but...

Yea the worst thing that happend was that after I took off my seat belt I opened my door and fell out of the truck and down the imbankment. Some a-hole forgot to put the ground there. I got to looking at it and It isnt all that bad.

The bumper was going to be tossed due to a winchbumper/brush guard that I was going to build for it.

The fog lights were going to be tossed for some higher intensity KC lights

The bug shield I never much liked anyways.

So that leaves it down to I need to buy a rear drivers side door, fix the drivers door, and buy that piece of fiberglass that goes across above the grill where the word..jeep..is.

I got chains just hadnt gotten around to putting them in the cherokee. and as for tires, I am sending 12 throwing knives to New York and 2 more to Hawaii, so That will be enough to get me some new tires. Goin down an lookin tomorrow at tires.
