looks like you have created a "new job" opening for Cooper.

I do wish there was a place here where I could handle both rifles.

Personally, I like the EXCALIBUR

With the Cooper, accuracy will not be a question. Mine shoots easily into 1/2" at 100 yards.

That is some good shooting there!

I doubt I'll be that good of a shot with the rifle but at least I know the lack in potential is mine. wink

One thing you must know now that you have read three pages on Cooper ownership...it is really hard to have ONE Cooper rifle..looking for number four here and that may lead to number five...

You've got some good components there, I'd likely finish the build. That and I'm not a fan of B&C stocks, which Cooper uses...

Just curious, why the beat down on B&C stocks?

I kind of like the B&C stocks. I have at least four, and they have all given good service. I like both the Excalibur and the Jackson Hunter. You need to shoulder both and see which one feels best. I went with a Jackson Hunter, I kind of liked the the feel of it.

The B&C stocks are fine the Winchester Extreme Weather I have fits me good. There are some McMillan snobs around. I own two myself, great stocks but not the only stock.

Just not a fan of one size fits all stocks. Some of us aren't average builds and I like options. If I was shelling out the $$ for a Cooper, it would have wood...
