Excellent!
Reminded me of when I was in my twenties and heard my mother screaming downstairs at about 6:00 in the AM. I was in the upstairs bathroom and looked out the window to see a man dressed all in black, with a black hood over his head, running across our front lawn, and then into the back yard towards the woods.
It turned out she had gotten up and was folding some laundry in the laundry room. She opened the window shade to see a black-hooded man, dressed all in black, right up against the window, apparently "casing the joint."

Florida has the "Castle Doctrine" as well as stand your ground, also if it is self defense and so determined the defenders are also not liable to civil action by the perp or family. Damn fine lawmaking on this one. Yep.

Shortly before midnight Wednesday, two masked men with guns kicked in the front door of a home on West Cedar Lake Drive, and ... her son retaliated with gunfire. Good argument for belt-carry inside the house.
