My Tikka has been 100% reliable for 12 years now and it gets hunted in an assortment of driving snow, sleet, freezing rain and sub zero temps every season. It's a model 595 rather than a T-3 but I don't think they're that much different in basic design.
Tikka bashers are just pissy cause they spend more money and usually end up with an inferior rifle. Same with Savage haters.. Who gives a crap if they shoot and the owners are happy.

I too prefer the sporter weight ladies over the trendy ultra-lights..... though, admittedly..... I've fooled around with more than a few built for long range/varmints in my day.....
