Looking at selling my 44 mag 94. It has the brown laminate stock that I believe was referred to as wintuff. Gun was made in 1994 and has the stamp on the receiver and a saddle ring. Gun is all original and LNIB. Cannot find any marks one it but I did fire it a bit. Have the original box. I have never seen one sell so I have no idea of value. Thanks for any advice. I will dig it out of the safe and try to get some pics posted if that would help.

does it have the POS cross bolt hammer safety ?

Of course it does it is from 1994 around the beginning of them I believe. I hate them as does everyone. But it is still a nice short handy little rifle and I thought despite the safety might demand a premium or have some collector interest since it seems to be an oddball. Seen several in 30/30 but none in 44 mag.

Can't seem to find this chambering in that model. A 30-30 would probably go for around $400, but I would think your rifle would demand a premium since I think it's an oddball.

I am not certain but I believe these were a gander mountain exclusive. In 1994 gander was pretty much Wisconsin only so I don't think many were produced.Hoping to find a Winchester nut to shed some light on the gun for me.
