I've been looking at the Grim Reaper broadheads for the upcoming archery season, just wondering if any one has any experience with them?

I like the Whitetail Special with the 2" cutting radius 100gr.

They shoot like field points, and my Pro Shop has found them to be the best for penetration on test targets. A lot of local guys in VA use them. Ive shot the practice heads but haven't had a deer in front me with these on.

You'll get a couple of standard comments: Mechanicals suck! will be one of them.

I'd say the standard blades are less likely to have issues than the WTS, the bigger blades won't kill a deer any faster with the right arrow placement. JMO

I shoot the regular Grim Reapers and love them. Have watched every deer I put one through hit the ground from my treestand. I'd be reluctant to go up to a 2 inch diameter head unless my bow was packing some serious kinetic energy. I think the standard Grim Reapers put them down as fast as they are going to go down anyway. And my blood trails have looked like something out of a Peckinpah flick.
