Just wondering, how are front sight ramps affixed to the barrel on Pre-64 Model 70's ?

a) Machined as an integral part of the barrel ?
b) Brazed/silver soldered on ?
c) Screwed or mechanical fastener ?

Thank you !

Standard weight model 70's were integral to the barrel till @1953, then as a cost saver they were a seperate ramp soldered on. All featherweight rifles had the same soldered on ramps.
