I am curious if anyone here has ever visited a plant where body grip traps are made. It would be very interesting to see exactly how they are made and what machinery is used to make them.
I would imagine that the plant buys large rolls of thick wire, or maybe rods of it. And the the type of bending machines that would be required to shape that wire into a trap. And the bending machines that would be bend the springs.
Anybody every see how this is done.

For most brands that would be hard to see as they are made oversees. It would be possible sure some brands produced here. Mb and sleepy creek come to mind. It would indeed be cool to see them built.

BMIs are relatively cheap and made in Ohio.

Belisle... made in Canada. I really like their design.

385 agreed. I'd like to see the Belisle made (but since I live half a continent away it's not on my vacation plans). You just gotta love the safetys on those traps!
