Roger, we might be getting there closer to 1-2pm.
It is a 4.5h drive from Houston and we will likely stop for gas/ice/bait. Patrick is leaving at about 8, a little earlier than me, but he has about 30 more minutes to drive to our meeting point.
I am bringing pisco, if you guys want pisco sour, bring a blender smile

Like them engineers for solving problems. Got a small inverter in my Jeep---wonder how many watts a small blender uses-------I'll have to check.

Let's see, the vitamix 3600 blender ( has a off/on spout at the bottom of the container)uses 850 on normal speed. So I guess a 1100 watt or so would work fine to crush a little ice.
May be going to harbour freight very soon.

I will be bringing a large pot with a propane burner and another smaller pot with another propane burner, so we can cook fish either fried or boiled if we catch any. grin I have oil and will buy some potatos. I also have five gallons or more of water for cooking and washing up. Also some beer, whiskey and drinking water. miles

We'll have ice, I'll bring the pisco, sugar and key limes. That (and skill smile ) is the only thing needed... hehehe. Inverter sounds great, since I blew mine and dont have one for the air mattress.

We'll see the group sometime about 2 or so Thursday.
Finished packing, tried to start my Jeep. Nothing--- Charged---nothing---so I pull the battery (30 months old)and am not a strong enough to push it (the Jeep is half in half out) the rest of the way into the garage. Get the next door neighbor to help on that. Hop into the red Jeep and go to oil change place for a new battery. Get the partial warranted battery, put the battery in, wonders never cease to happen. The Jeep started. grin

Be on my way soon Roger, meet you when you get to headquarters
parking lot on Thursday. I'll give you a call after 1:00 pm or so thursday.

Was a wonder mechanic at the dealership left a clamp off the heater hose that goes into the firewall to heater core. Pressure built up and kicked the hose off the metal hose.
I was really worried about overheating the engine, had to get a wrecker to get this Jeep to the shop.

He was only supposed to be working on AC.

Wonder mechanic didn't make a dime off that mistake. I think dealership was embarrassed on this one. Anyway we are good to go at this point. cool
