I've shot a leetle of this and a leetle of that,but boolits and LRF's certainly have changed how I deal Death. Wouldn't mind another 378Wby if I could score a S/S twin-lugger in a McMillan handle,but my L61R based 338Ultra has me done did with .375's of any flavor. Should build me another 338Ultra geared towards the current crop of slickery 300's,as they do nice things.

There's still much to be said for good boolits entering good locations and that's so veddy easily arranged with a multitude of offerings,which is why headstamps is largely moot in the equation. Case in point,Humper loaned a rifle out the other day to compliment one of his friends' wife's request for a good handling/low recoiling rifle and she killed a nice Ram at 648yds with a 22-250AI F/F load squirting a 75A-Max. Though in fairness,it was a great big #2 Brux.(grin)

I reckon there's a reason why everyone I know has built rifles around the .224" 75'Max,.243" 105'Max and the .284" 162'Max...while letting stacks of boomers languish in befuddled solitude.

Hell...I hear there's even been a long run on Montucky 7 Whizzum's,for like reason.(grin)
