Just shot yesterday at 100 yds. '06 T3 lite stainless w/ a 2-7x33 VXII Leupold (Warne mounts). I'll admit I'm a mauser slut but I had to try a Tikka out.

No pics here either but last Sunday I had a friend of mine shooting my 223. He shot one group less than .350" and the proceeded to whack away at pop cans loaded with water at about 150 yards. Not too big of a deal but it really is a fun gun to shoot.
I bought the gun second hand for my RH son but it has also become a loaner gun for folks looking to learn on. Amazing trigger on it!!

I sure wish I could have found a Tikka when I was living in Alaska.

Rounds look long, do they fit in the box?

That's the beauty in the long action for a rifle chambered in the Swede.

Don't forget to minus the .224 bullet dia. Got a couple more groups like this & one smaller! My range is 99 yds to muzzle of gun (yes I know, it's cheating) Guess I can shoot rifles better than camera's

I sure wish I could have found a Tikka when I was living in Alaska. Liar! Jamie drove one right up to your doorstep and you peed on it! I saw the pic!

Here are a couple pics of my Tikka .25-06....LOVE that gun! And a pic of a target at 300 yds. The Federal Fusions shoot awesome and put animals down with the quickness! Chris

Dober Mark- In case you're not aware, the 6.5x55 T3s are built for the long (30'06) magazines and bolt stops. FWIW, in my T3 6.5 Swedes, I have no clearance issues when seating 140 A-Maxes out to 3.225 inches OAL or the 142 SMKs out to 3.118" OAL.
Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession. Robert Kelley Weeks (1840-1876)
