I've seen this done by those who shoot the traditional Turkish bows before. Just curious if anyone had any experience and what if any benefit is there in the field?

I screwed around with one for a couple of hours.

I couldn't make it work well. The shelf has to be on the opposite side of the bow for it to work properly.

I noticed that as well on the video's I watched on youtube when I searched thumb rings. Some other interesting stuff came up as well so you might want to preface it with archery. The Turkish bows looked smallish as well. I'll have to research those some and see what they are all about. they look cool not sure what kind of application they would have.
