Its been a busy week but a great start to our fall season. A total of 5 rams down in 5 days all being great trophy's. While I was out in the mountains on our Hueco ranch yesterday packing out a nice old 31 inch ram we scored on earlier in the morning I got a call from our ranch down on the Devils river saying they scored on a big ram. When I got the picture I couldn't believe it! He taped out at just over 36 inches with 13 inch bases (these are all free range rams by the way) and should scrore high in the books.

The cooler rainy weather this past weekend had them up and moving. We also saw some great muley's that I look forward to ground checking in a couple months also. The 2nd Client out on the Devils river also scored on a ram nice ram in the 30in to 31in range. A great start and it looks like its going to be a good year!

Enjoy

Those are beautiful animals!

One of my former partners from WI is looking to book a West Texas auodad hunt... he's completed his North American sheep grand slam, and is looking for a Barbary ram to add to his collection. I told him I'd be proud to join him on the hunt, and I'd look for a quality outfitter this year.

Drop me a PM when you get a chance so we can discuss.

Thanks guys, no Texas heart shot but darn close. Client was trying to put him down before he got up on the cliff ledge which would have been a long ordeal to get him down the mountain. He soaked up 3 well placed 7 mag rounds before the rear end shot.

Them are some neat looking animals. I saw my first one last year and would love to them one day in the future. We'll see what the future holds when I retire from the Army.
