OP Redneck Campfire Kahuna R Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 59,180 Likes: 3 WI.	I stumbled upon a near pristine Model 70 Custom Ultimate Classic in .35 Whelen.. These models were made only from '98-'06 and I have to believe the Whelen's gotta be a rare bird. These came with fancy checkered walnut stocks, engine-turned bolt, extractor and follower, inlaid sling swivels, fluted barrel (some octagon and variations), rings/bases and shipped in a hard case. Hardly a mark on it.. It's my second Ultimate Classic and these things are simply gorgeous.. Ex- USN (SS) '66-'69 Pro-Constitution. LET'S GO BRANDON!!!
