Any guesses on the value of a model 39. Post war but pre micro groove - Im guessing around '46. Great condition.

My advice is to go to some on line gun sites and see what guns like yours in like condition are going for.I think that would give you a more realistic price range then some guys guessing at the value using the information you have giving us.

I saw a rusty, pitted, battered post war 39A sell for $250 several months back. A NICE mountie just sold very quickly in the classifeds for $650.

If your gun is in good condition it is worth at least $400, and in five years it may be worth a LOT more, 'cause Marlin ain't doin' too well these days.
