Nah mate, we don't treat them any worse....we are just too cheap to pay the fee.

Where were you, the cross?

Just spent 3 days there. Spent some time at Surfers Paradise, lots of time in Melbourne, and a few weeks in the outback.

Hey DT,

define the outback, it's pretty big, and varies a little bit depending on how har North or South you are.

Three days eh, business trip?

I have been on the receiving end of too many killer looks, lightning bolts, and got to hell stares from redheads to agree with that statement. But they sure are fun when they get riled up.

No business, just recreation. Six month trip. Outback for me was a few hundred miles northwest of Brisbane and somewhere north of Ballarat. A couple weeks in each. It has been quite a few years so some of the details are a bit fuzzy.

Those 26 oz bottles of Melbourne Bitter made some of it even fuzzier. smile

I am betting holiday in Surfers, work in Melbourne, outback would be the drive/flight from Brisbane to Melbourne....and the Cross would be none of the above.
And whether or not he had a sore arse afterwards would depend entirely on how much grog was consumed whilst there.

Really, really not the sort of place at which I would like to be inebriated.

Ps, there are vices there that have not even been named yet.

Well, you would lose your bet. The outback trips were me with some camping gear in a vehicle with my .270 and a bit of ammo.

Well I'll be, someone that actually has seen Australia!

Did you get out to Longreach in central Queensland?

I don't think so but I imagine back when I was there things were a bit different.

One of the most memorable sights that I can recall was a young lady from Monash. Kept me from doing as much exploring as I had planned.

I've been to OZ. So have a lot of my old stick buddies. They married a bunch of your wimmen and took 'em Stateside. I didn't...marry 'em. I liked Sydney and the people...especially your wenches. It was also especially nice that not one soul tried to shoot me for an entire week. Totally [bleep] bizarre concept at the time.

George Greenough was one of my heroes many years back.

No, it's on the left side, not the wrong side. Over here left is right. See how easy that is?

We do it like that 'cause most chicks are right handed.
