#1 by far Golberg's Peanut Chews, Payday, Reeces... Do you see a pattern here?

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

Good post, Kawi. For candy bars we favor Baby Ruths, Hershey Almonds, and Almond Snickers. For "constant sucking" as we hike, it is lemon drops. Whatever your favorite - get the real sugar ones... fake sugar stuff does nothing for your energy levels.

I thought this was about 'candy' and not staples of what we take...

After 40 someodd years of spitting that stuff out on the ground, I got tired of having to pay more for a can than I could buy two full rolls for when I started. So I quit, and with the money I ain't spitting out anymore I can buy a new Shiloh Sharps,Winchester hiwall or a Colt model P and the trimmmins to go with it every year.
the most expensive bullet there is isn't worth a plug nickel if it don't go where its supposed to. www.historicshooting.com

Day three without and I was doing so well. Phugger. I chewed cope for 26 years and loved every minute of it. That said, after I put both parents (heavy smokers) in the ground from bladder cancer, I quit, some 12 years ago.....So try to stay off it one day at a time....after 12 years it gets easier.
Regards,
Tom

I forgot about the Ginger Chews. I'm particularly find of the peanut ones. I view these as more medicinal than "candy", as they will alleviate a fair number of gastrointestinal ailments: nausea, gas, runs, sour stomach, etc. Far more handy to have on a hunt or backpack trip than one might imagine, and well worth a try if you haven't sampled 'em. Was trying to quit......that didn't help Interesting all the folks who dip. I dip when on a hunting or fishing trip (from the time I leave home to return) or from time to time when working on the farm. I made myself follow those limitations. I do enjoy it throughly within those limits though!

Baby Ruth! Yeah, right. They come through pretty much unscathed!

Candy is either straight sugar of some sort or a combination of sugar and fat. That's why some of us eat it!
The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

Snickers, kit kats and Reese's PB Cups, usually have a granola bar or two.
