I know, I know...but I ended up with it and it's pretty much new. 4-16x42AO and I have a rifle it fits pretty well. Anybody have experience with one of these as far as just staying sighted and together? It will go on a 25-06.

shootem,

Never had the HIght Country but sure have many Tascos on different rifles. Narry a problem. For example a .340 Weatherby, .375-.416 Rem Mag, four 7 Mags two .22 rimfires, two .22 centerfires. Two of them are 6-24, the rest are 4-16X. All have A.O.

Also I have Weaver, Bushnell 6500, Swarovski z5. To me the best value on the scope market is the Tasco World Class.

Yeah, I still have a World Class that's been on several rifles so far. Thanks

No experience with the High Country. Have 2 Japan made Tasco scopes that are very clear and bright. One is a World Class Plus and the other a Titan.

I used several of the 4-16 High Country Tascos when they first hit the market and I had good results on rifles from .223 to .300 Winchester.

Had one years ago on a Ruger M77 7mm Mag. Never could get it to zero. Took it back and got my money back.

I had a friend that used one on a 7mm magnum. It was a good scope for not much money.
