got one! I was at my LGS to pickup my new pistol and spotted this on the rack with a good sale price.I ran thru the spec's real quick, made me happy, the voices said do it and now it's home....223,9" twist all stainless and a laminated stock.

Just what I had in my mind for a new 'Yote gun.I like 60 to 69 gr bullets,so I think this will work.I plan a bore-coat test and run a couple of different scopes on it this year.....

Rifle: Best of luck with the Kimber Pro-Varmint.
I have never done any work with the 223 and bullets heavier than 55 grains myself, so I don't have anything to add other than good wishes and enjoy that fine looking model of Varmint Rifle.
Be sure and keep us advised of its progress.

Why the thumbs down? I thought I was going to read a negative review!

I am shooting the 68 HPBT in my AR-15. I have killed two coyotes with it. The first one was hit a little low but well. The coyote yipped, and ran off. I tracker her down, made it maybe 40 yards with a LARGE blood trail. Bullet worked great, 1" exit

I no idea where the "thumbs down" came from? How do you get to it?

I have a Kimber Varmint in 22-250. It is my favorite rifle. I have had it mounted in a Wildcat synthetic stock and all the metal ceracoted.

Well..IT"S A SHOOTER!!...Run up some 60 gr Hornadys with Varget,smooth as silk!
Zeroed in on out 300 yard plates,4" to 8" in size, kilt them all!

I get it clean to the bone tonight and do a Dur-Coat. I also want to load some 69 gr stuff and see how that does.

Rifle-

Evidently you don't know the rules of the forum. You're not allowed to post positive reviews of Kimbers. Sorry to break the news. smile
