Wellllllll were talkin' about Italians here, If ya give guns to stupid people ya get stupid results. Yeah, the birthplace of the Renaissance, Archimedes, Da Vinci, Polo, Galileo, Galvani, and Fermi. Some dumb folks, those. Those things were inspired by God. IT was just an accident he landed in Italy.

Them crazy Italians will eat anything....... I can't vouch for it's accuracy, but I read a few years ago that Italy is largely devoid of songbirds. They all end up in the pot. I know for a fact, though, that they'll eat jackrabbits. Some years ago when we had a super boom year for them, some Italians were here wanting to buy them to release on hunting preserves. We had every civic group in the state trying to figure out a way to catch mass numbers of them.

There may be some truth to that. My dad told me stories of my immigrant grandfather trapping them on the sly in their tiny, Little Italy, backyard for culinary purposes. He also grew tomatoes and made his own wine. Grandpa was of Sicilian farming stock.

Wellllllll were talkin' about Italians here, If ya give guns to stupid people ya get stupid results. Without Italians the world wouldn't have Beretta,Benelli, Franchi, Caesar Guerini, Uberti, Bosis, Piotti, Pirazzi just to name a few of the best. The world would be without Ferrari ,Maserati,Lamborghini, just to name a few of the coolest cars on the planet, if the Italians did not design & manufacture them. Do you think much or just spout off ? LOL.

Not making light of their deaths, but this thread reminded me of one.
Do you know what you call an Italian with a broken arm? An Italian with a speech impediment.

I am a first generation Italian. When I visited Italy a number of years ago, a few things really stood out.
It was hard to find a fat Italian. Italians drive like they sole the car. The women. The women are absolutely gorgeous. The food- fresh, and wonderful.
I loved Italy. The art, the people and the history.

OK, glad someone got this thread headed in the right direction. Did I mention the women? Italian women are stunning. And yes, there are natural blondes in Northern Italy. My father was from Northern Italy, and had blue eyes, as do I.

My father was from Northern Italy, and had blue eyes, as do I. Lots of blonds in Sicily, too. It was a Viking possession for a long time, heavily colonized by those folks during that period.

My father was from Northern Italy, and had blue eyes, as do I. Lots of blonds in Sicily, too. It was a Viking possession for a long time, heavily colonized by those folks during that period. DNA testing has shown that blond and redheads, especially redheads are of Viking stock. My wife is of Irish/Scot stock. She was a real carrot top when she was young and now with age is blond. She is almost pure white skin with freckles, burns at midnight, and has blue eyes. Her last name in Gaelic stands for the "son-of-bi-tich" clan which can be traced back to the Vikings. So my wife really is Irish, Scot (mother's side) and Viking (father's side).
