PS: They make a healthy thump when they fall out of a tree.
Reminds me of a time not long ago, there was a gray up in the top of an elm tree in the back yard, way out on a spindly limb. I tossed a firecracker off the balcony. Little phouc did a back flip when it went off, missed the limb and landed in the water about 70' below. Sassy li'l phouc climbed out on the bank on my side and glared at me about 30 seconds before shakin' off and running off. Wished I had a video, woulda went viral on you tube.

I got snuff for the freezer!
....a little pissed off....had to finish number 4 off the a stickball bat as he was paralyzed and doing the kibby. Sling bladed his dumb ass.

PPS: For scale, the palm frond stalks the black in on are about 2" wide at mid length and 3"+ near the bottom. We got one when I was a kid in Ga. that measured an honest 31" tip to tip....we used to call them cat squirrels cause they are about the size of a cat...
