Assuming your ground isn't frozen, you'll get a nice slow soak this way too rather than a run off.

it was in the 70's all last week, our ground is thawed and dry, it should soak in nice. supposed to be in the 50's and 60's next week. snow through the end of the week warming to 40's for a high, teens and single digits at night for a low. just what we need.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.

Well the Dell is back but they really couldn't find anything. He did remove my Yahoo toolbar, because he said he has seen the Yahoo toolbar totally lock up Explorer 9. Time will tell.

Muffy congrats on getting your license and keep us posted on the house.

Tom, my 8 year old grandson told his mom he wanted a cell phone because all the other kids had them. Mom said, NO!

Rained all day Tuesday, we had better than a 1/2 inch. Woke up this morning to an inch of snow on top of half inch of ice. Not fun removing it. They're calling for more rain, sleet and 2 to 4" inch of snow by Tursday. Snow in the forecast for Friday.

Well, my 8 year old son isn't getting one either. I wasn't real impressed when the text from a 10 year old little girl came to my phone either. I'm not paying for it I guess, but there are some rules that WILL not be broken if she likes that thing very much.

Looks like Minneapolis is getting dumped on this morning. Just started raining here. Windy as heck too.

Nasty here too. Will we get our 2 weeks of summer this year or not?

Grass? That's the stuff that gets smoked, right? confused

Picked up an inch of snow overnight. Looks like we'll have light snow most of the day.

light snow here and upper 20s. just a nice February day. got about 4-5" yesterday.

Starting to daydream about taking my daughter to Canada fishing already. We have reservations at Lac Seul. Every night she asks me about it at bedtime. When will we leave, Dad? When will we get there? How long will it take? Will we see a moose? Bear? Wolf? What time will we wake up? Can I read in the morning before we go fishing since I get up at 6 am every day? How many fish will we catch? I love it!

No kidding, 11 more inches forecast for this weekend (of snow). People are getting kinda edgy about it. I dont know that I would talk about supporting Global Warming around here too much these days if you prefer all of your teeth. Heck, I am thinking about letting my truck idle in the driveway all night just to speed it up. shocked
