The sun, the sun. Actually saw the sun this morning along with about a 10th of an inch of fresh snow.

I am sooooo freaking sick of this weather. First off, my "summer" hockey group started. It was too cold, wet, and snowy to drink beer in the parking lot after our skate.

Hockey without beer is like sex without a woman. You can do it, but it ain't the way it's supposed to be done!!!!

My next whining is that I let a friend in AZ talk me into a mountain-bike race June 1st. A long one. 104 miles actually. I am so sick of biking indoors that I am close to buying a "spin" bike just to bring up to my cabin and shoot with every firearm I own. Seriously.

Our daughter's softball team had shoveled off the complete varsity field two weeks ago. Now, there's 8 inches of slop on it again. 'Heard the lacrosse wussies haven't started either because of the snow. That's crap-if your man enough to put on the pads and beat on each other like they do, you ought to be man enough to play in the snow-heck, snow never stopped football season.

Do you think the bearded hens feel self conscious of have a complex about that beard?

Nope. They're too busy with their circus gigs to be self conscious.

Snowing like heck right now. Supposed to turn to rain. We're on tap to get over an inch of rain by Monday.

Wife suggested that I put the Christmas lights back up.

Nope, it rained last night, windy today I'd say it's about 40 out now. rumors of some snow later this evening, but I figure it will be flurries if its anything. I'm glad I aint turkey hunting this weekend!

Ended up with 2.6" of snow and a little rain. Fog here this morning. Upper 40's for temps today. May see 50� Tomorrow.

this week is supposed to be cold with temps just above freezing with intermittent rain and snow. so much for spring.....

We're getting the blowing snow now. Just when it was starting to dry up a little.

Oh well, at least I got some work done on the roadrunner.

The weather bug finally hit me yesterday. I couldn't possibly be grumpier than I was yesterday.

She's in total limbo... nerve racking.

Mid 50's in NE Wis today; warmest since December according to GB weather. I'm as cabin fevered out as anyone, but with all the snow we did have this winter, the slow melt is a blessing. Also, I usually buy a case of quarts of maple syrup yearly. Last year was so warm the season here (50 miles north of Green Bay) was only about 7-10 days long, instead of the usual 3-6 weeks. Seems like the slow spring should do wonders for that season. Anything to keep my simple brain from getting too uptight about too long winters. I should probably move 500 miles south when I retire.

Is it just me if is Nate taller than Dave :-) ?
