Tim it's never too late!  Well I do have an advantage over some of you guys. I'm about 200 miles down the road form them and they have said I can go there to be fitted, buy and take delivery being as how I'm a Montanan.

Actually my SEA experience was never discussed much throughout the years.My kids wrote a few essays in high school and included the old man's AF days but even my wife was in the dark with much of what went down over there.When Jim and I realized our connection and the "Darkside" virus manifested itself [a long time interest of mine] she was all for it and said this is something you need to do.."so start saving your money". I latched onto a good one Ed and am thankful for all these wonderful years we've had together !

The look on HER face was nearly as priceless as the one on yours when ya read the Shiloh Letter!!

Gunner Pard I have a decent gun collection,many with battle scars they acquired over many moons of great hunting trips and memories but this one will be among the most treasured for so many reasons.Very few in a lifetime get to experience what I have in the last 6 weeks or being on the receiving end of such kindness by 3 guys[now 2] on the other end of a keyboard I never met.I'm not deserving of this and still don't have words except "Thanks" to the three of you!

Thinking about ordering a Shiloh, I drooled over the website again and actually registered and put my "wish list" together.
I Do have a question for you Sharps experts; what, exactly, is the "Traditional Checkering" pattern they use? I looked, but didn't see an example anywhere on the site.
Was there a "traditional pattern"?
