Went out and shot 1 five round group at 500 yards today. I am pretty happy with the results!

I'd say so!! Give us some specifics. Rifle, load, scope, conditions, etc. Thanks..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Im afraid it might change when I get my new stock, Being that it is NOT free floated right now. Do you guys think floating it will effect the accuracy? Silly question i know. but seriously, this rifle has shot better then i thought it could already...

Your point of impact will likely change but your accuracy should be better if you are putting it into a proper stock with stress free bedding.

Every Remington I own has bennefitted from free floating! Not a gurantee, but it helped all of mine.
Good Shooting!

If it isn't broke why fix it.

Point of impact can change depending on force put on your bi-pod. That is what can change if you float your barrel.
