Why isn't anyone hunting around here? Going to Billings gun show, who cares about hunting. I have shot lots of stuff this fall, nothing but doe "B" tags left. At least that sounds good, but if I had better plans than this I would be hunting. You want to go to Billings??? I'm workin on your favorite Volvo today..
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Why isn't anyone hunting around here? I can't speak for everybody, but there are 12 empty Bent Nails in my garbage can, half my bottle of Tanqueray is gone, not to mention a bottle of Steak House is emptied... And nobody else was here. I just cooked up a half dozen eggs and a slab of prime rib smothered in horseradish and cracked a Ranger. Everything in moderation! Sooo... I don't think I'll be chasing birds today. Travis

On a side note...do you birds interchange the terms prairie dog, gopher and ground squirrel to all be the same thing or is it totally different and definable even by a pack of jack wagons like yourselves?

Gophers here are ground squirrels, but they call them gophers for whatever reason. They don't have real gophers here, which is good, the little bastards are a pain in the ass.

PDs and gophs do look alike, except for size...PDs much bigger. They hardly ever live in the same AO...
Yes, act of God for Bison, but Ingweife wants to shoot one next year and we will do so on a private ranch...more of a meat gather than a hunt, but Buffalo is good meat...

Down here gophers are what y'all would call a turtle or terrapin. But though I live in The Windy State I know the diff between prairie dogs and gophers. I nailed a gopher with a 2000 Impala just NW of Great Falls one day. You had to be there, I'm still proud of that one. Had to change lanes twice while doing 80 or so.
