Dan, ya got off light with them cup 'n core serf bullets. I shot a doe years back with one of them, turned her heart to spaghetti but she still traveled near 200 yards. About 50 yards before she fell over dead (under the backside of a big log) she run out of blood and I was trackin' thru leaf covered forest floor decidin' which of 100 deer tracks belonged to my dearly beloved deer. I'd like to upgrade to whatever it was you were usin'.

I've read they kill like lightening.
I actually went hunting yesterday late afternoon. Was using a 10/22 and that's probably where the Karma went south. Anyway, I crossed paths with a small boar. I was looking at him, he was looking at me straight on but there wasn't a shot. When he had his head up the shot was clear but that's a chitty shot when seeking brains 'cause the bullet will ricochet off their forehead. When he lowered his snout there was a limb in the way, centered on his forehead. We watched each other for about 10 minutes like that then he turned and walked away.
If I'd been using CB shorts he wouldn't have been afraid and mighta walked right up to me and sucked on the barrel.
If I'd had the Rigby I'd have tried a Texas brain shot.
