I am trying to find out if I buy a model 7 stock will a model 700 short action youth 7mm-08 fit into the stock?

As far as I know, no it won't fit because the action on the model 7 isn't the same length as a SA 700.

Why not buy a Model 700 stock? Surely they're still available.

I have been looking but can only find the one I want in LA for the 700. I want a camo factory Remington stock in SA for a BDL model 700 to fit a 7mm-08 youth rifle. I want the full sized stock though. Maybe I have not looked in the right places yet.

i think the 7 is the same reciver as 600 and 660 with a 700 bolt handle

It wont work for a model 7 or 600 either.

Thanks I just made him an offer on this one. It says for a magnum barrel but should work ok on the youth model I hope.

Tha bottom one is for a triangle style barre.l I doubt it will work on a regular contour barrel will it?
