Prices seem reasonable, can't wait to try them out. Boy if those 270 cal 150's have anything close to the listed BC, the 270 cal are going to make a come back, especially the 270 Winchester. Laffin'! The 270 Winchester never "went" anywhere...except among the gear freaks and number crunchers on here...

It simply stopped killing big game (freaking bounce back was a bitch)and worked only as a coyote and eagle round as Elmer always told us it would be. Didnt you get the memo???

Laffin'! The 270 Winchester never "went" anywhere...except among the gear freaks and number crunchers on here... Isn't that the truth. At least half the households in Montana have 270's in them.

Figured I was gonna have to pass... those prices make Bergers look like a good deal and they're nearly paying me to take AMAXs... Berger vs Accubond? Apples and oranges. Totally different animals. Bergers are normal cup and core with a high BC nothing else. Hardly expensive to produce compared to more intricate design.

Bergers are normal cup and core with a high BC nothing else. Hardly expensive to produce compared to more intricate design. Maybe they're using union bakers from Hostess to bond them? LOL... can't figure why a bonded core is perceived as a need for long range impacts and commensurate low impact velocities. I've no doubt they'll work great, if those calc'd BCs actually come to fruition, just too spendy. I won't foot the coin for Berger either... the 50% boot in price to keep infomercial long range hunting shows in good supply, simply prices them out of the market.

Good Lord that's a lot of money for a bullet with the dreaded pancaking effect! If you want a high BC bullet, get a 7mm and use the 162 Amax for about half of the price.

Agreed. You could pay for a new barrel in about 600 rounds by shooting Amax's versus these things. They might be a great bullet, but are just too rich for my blood.

Like them, Especially 168-175 7mm and like the concept. Built for hunting close or far with an accuracy pedigree. Nosler needs to get'em on the market and quit teasing us Price is not far off from reg. accubonds. Just get'n hunerd' of'em instead of fifty.

I think the price is fair for a 100 count box. Like has been stated before though if they don't work that's a lot of left over bullets but I'm sure people would trade some bullets to try them. I will give them a try when they hit the market.

While the Amax's are exceptional target bullet they are far from consistent when used on game. I've had them not exit, exit with great performance and over-expansion with massive entrance wound but very shallow cavity penetration. I've very consistent results with the AB as a hunting bullet that it was designed for in various calibers and all performed very similarly. If these bullets live up to their advertised hype they will be a great option to compete with the Berger option.
