Amax bullets are very consistent. They blow up.

I'm by no means "well to do" but if they shoot and terminally perform I don't really give a rat's a$$ what they cost, I'll use them.

Thanks- Hell if I know. I just read about it on the internet. I'm going to screw my 270 barrel back on one of my Ti mountain rifles and give the 150 a go. Wouldn't suck at 2800.

Good Lord that's a lot of money for a bullet with the dreaded pancaking effect! If you want a high BC bullet, get a 7mm and use the 162 Amax for about half of the price.
How can you say it pancakes. They are not even on shelf yet, but some how you know they Pancake?
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Are the jackets made out of gold? Elk What is your bullet of choice sir? I guess the price per bullet isn't that bad. I would have a hard time spending $50 on the first box on the hope that they would work in my rifle.

Flapjacks! Get your flapjacks!
I'll take a stack of them right here. Thinking the 270 roy should flatten them out real good.
