anyone know the weight on this guy? I am assuming its the lightest one they make. I have a 13 ounce DD free float rail on one of my guns now and am looking for a lighter rail.

Check out the Rainier Arms Evolution. Its 12.37" long, uses a standard barrel nut (with heatsinks), and weighs only 11 oz. http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2563

The VTAC version weighs more than the standard Alpha rail. I just put one on with the built in front sight, very nice and weighs less than the 7" LaRue I replaced.
Best I can find is 11.43oz and that includes a standard barrel nut but no additional rails.
