I really like the circle-x reticle in the Bushnell Banner's for a shotgun. However, I'm not so fond of the Banners, or really anything Bushnell for that matter. Do any decent scopes offer this reticle or a similar one?

Take a look at the Leupold VX-R with the "Ballistic Firedot" reticle.

The Leupold turkey plex is similar. I have one in my rimfire 4x. I also have a Bushnell scope with the circle-X reticle.

Would the Redfield Revolution Accurange work for you seems to be similar?

I really like the circle-x reticle in the Bushnell Banner's for a shotgun. However, I'm not so fond of the Banners, or really anything Bushnell for that matter. Do any decent scopes offer this reticle or a similar one? I have acquired a 1.75-4 Banner scope and with the ease of obtaining a target picture with the 6" of eye relief, even with a bulky parka on,it is becoming my favorite scope. I too have reservations about Bushnell Banner scopes but can't seem to find any real bad negative feedback about them. Also have a Redfield Accurange and it is not the same as the Banner. Eye Relief is not as forgiving and in it's own right is a great scope for the 130 bucks I paid for it, it does not match in my eyes the Banner CircleX. I purchased a Trophy DOA 200 with a reported 5" eye relief but it doesn't match the Banner either. I put this on a muzzleloader and it's ok. I'll be watching this thread. Thanks for bringing this up.

Over at marlnowners.com they are pretty happy with the banner. It seems to be holding up good even on 4570s. I like the reticle for brush hunting and the eye relief. Mine seems to have a ton of paralax but still makes decent 100yd groups. Also the huge eye piece makes for real tough to impossible bolt clearance unless you have a short throw like browning or tikka.

A friend of mine had a Banner on his 7mm Rem Mag for 20 years without a problem. It held point-of-impact year after year, even after some dents from rocks and trees.

I've got like 5 or 6 of the Bushnell's with the circle x reticle...
I love 'em... sure they ain't Leupolds... but I have never had an issue with them... quick target acquisition.. I wasn't handicapped with the 4.5 power, when I took a blacktail with one at 300 plus yards...
I have a couple in the older Trophy line.. and then three or so in the Banner line...
I've mounted them on 10/22s on one end, 338 Win Mags and 444 Marlin on the other end of the spectrum...
nothing has ever phased them... always reliable and always tracked perfectly...
they worked just fine.. and have done everything I have ever asked of them...
on the other end tho, I am not known for being a scope snob.. if it works, it works..

My next purchase is the Leupold 1-4x20 pig plex with circle reticle. About $230 most places check it out. Just discovered it this week!
