Poobot, any experience with the 77 Hawkeyes? In small bore?
I kinda bought the gamet of them today and was wondering about flipping for 700s or keeping......

All experience with Hawkeyes has been good. They DO need a trigger job, but accuracy is surprisingly good, and durability is second to none.
More aftermarket stuff available for Remingtons...

The High Wall gun in the first picture is actually a muzzle loading cartridge gun. .40 caliber what uses a .38-55 Win. case. Sort of one of those reverse AI guns we talked about awhile back if you recall. Load the case, card wad on top to hold all the charcoal in place. Stuff a bullet in from the front and jam the cartridge in a touch it off. Unertl scope in the wings for that one. Bitch weighs 17# not including the scope. Show me a fly on the target at 200 yards....dare ya. laugh

Bottom one is an 1880's vintage 50 caliber underhammer made by a guy named....Hilliard....badda bing....took second place in a match out in Cody June 2011 with that one. Original scope from back then...16X

I like smoke....

BD

PS: I like your 2^3 BTW. That is a 300 yard target, right?
