Pointer, in repsonse to the other thread, SFW helped draw up the current allocation and I agree it's total BS. It is, along with about anything else SFW come up with. Not sure really what good SFW do for the average hunter. They can get phouced as far as I'm concerned. I've seen the results of their handywork having lived in Utah. That said, and don't take this as too much of a knock on the state of NM, but that type of thing is, IMO, too far ingrained there to really get rid of it. One thing I really like about NM is their drawing system (no points of any type) as I feel that is the fairest way to do it. I'm still putting in for elk, deer, etc and if drawn will not be using a guide.

Not taking it as a knock at all, it is what it is.
The LO's and the Outfitters have pretty much been able to call the shots for years.
If we could ever get Jennings law repealed it would help a bunch.

Not taking it as a knock at all, it is what it is.
The LO's and the Outfitters have pretty much been able to call the shots for years.
If we could ever get Jennings law repealed it would help a bunch. Glad you took it that way. I didn't want to get a 'quirtin' when I came there to hunt bulls in the Gila!

He forgot to mention 2" at 500 yards.
Ace shot it and got it down to around 1.75" at 500.
 Only on the Internet I did...
