Not yet, (fingers crossed).

Going to cook outdoors on the grill at home today to celebrate weezy's first week at her new job. She's making us pretty proud with her responsible efforts lately.

Have a good day everyone.

Congrats Weezy.

Anyone using windows 8? If so what do you think of it. We're going to have a new computer built and have the option of Windows 7 or 8.

Weezy is building Polaris ATV's, at a Polaris manufacturing facility. It's hard work, but it's a good job. Very respectable I'd say and good pay too.

So don't be hating on the Polaris stuff, because she's feisty! lol!

She's not siting at home waiting for some kind of obama check to show up because the world somehow owes her money. And she's not bichin and wimpering about anybody "keeping her down", nor is she claiming "there are no jobs out there."

She's out there doing it, sleeves rolled up and working hard for her money. Working hard for her money and sending a good percentage of her earnings along to the government so they can spoon it out to all the slugs that choose not to work.

She's towing the line, and I'm proud of her.

smile

Yep there's an 8 and 8.1 will be out sometime this summer to fix all the problems in 8. We're currently running 7.

We're most likely going to go with 7. If 8.1 proves to be stable we'll upgrade.

Yes, there is a Win 8. It is designed to turn your computer into a cell-phone like device. If you run a smart phone, I think Win 8 will work on it. But if you don't and you don't care to have a cel phone clone for a computer and you don't use touch screens. well...

Let's put it this way. I bought a new laptop last week that came with Win8. It now has Win 7 on it.

We have a Kindle, Brent so we're used to the touch screen. Wondows 8 is not very desk top friendly if you don't have a touch screen. Lots of extra mouse clicks I've been told.

Just happened to glance out the kitchen window last evening and saw a Red Tailed Hawk tearing away at something. Couldn't tell if it was fur or feathers littering the lawn. Turned to be feathers. When I went out to check all that was left was a small piece of a crop with a few seed in it. Appeared to have been a Dove.

New computer has been ordered.

Neighbors dog chased a turkey out her pines around 5:30 PM. She didn't know if it was a Tom or a hen.

I saw a bunch of em this morning on the way into work. One strutter and a few hens. One hen tried to commit hari cari with the explorer.

There must be something in the air because last night it was a black bear that tried to do the same thing but it was with my Neon. The bear was in an odd spot...in the middle of I-94 E just over the St. Croix river in WI. To say it got my attention would be an understatement.

MN is slated for upto 5" of white stuff between wed/thursday night. GROSS!

Been a number of bear sightings around here also.

We may see some of the white stuff over here too. I was going to change the oil and drain the gas on the blower today, but I think I'll hold off.

Talking of bear I even saw a few on my bear hunt. No pictures of the the bear but I did shoot a small one on the last day last hour of the hunt. I will say the hunt was a lot of fun but I am still recovering. Here is an example of the area hunted.

PS that tiny group of trees in the center of the picture had a small heard of elk grazing. I saw a lot of elk a few deer and a total of 7 bears.
