Believe there's a white/black/gray McSwirly in the Sticky and a few muddied White ones.
Anyone ever do or seen a predominately White, maybe a touch of red and a smaller touch of black or something of the sorts done?
Going to order an A3 (I believe) this week and trying to think up something I'll like, but be a bit different.
Otherwise either going with an black/orange/yellow (maybe some red) McFlame or a Blue/Black/light gray blend?

I saw a white and grey one on a custom .243 that I really liked. Didnt have the funds at the time to buy it though. I may be ordering an orange and white one this week. Have to see if I can get the barrel information to get it cut to fit.

aalf, what are the percentages if that's yours? (thanks for the pic btw)
Thinking that just a touch of red in something like that, might be kind of cool/different

Awesome setup, aalf. What's the specs on that rifle again? Anyone try a white and light brown swirly? Like 70% white, 30% light brown?

60% white 30% dark grey 10% black on the farthest one. The other two are another members and I don't know the percentages on his, but it can't be different by much.

You only have to please yourself....
Those colors do remind me of the old joke "what's black and white, and red all over?"

If you want it to show the white you better up the 50%

If you want it to show the white you better up the 50% Agreed. You're gonna want at least 60%. 70/20/10...or 70/25/5 would give you what you want, I think. You can change it if you get second guessing yourself, just don't wait too long.
I should have just bought a [bleep] T3...

Here's another.... 50 white - 25 light gray - 25 dark gray I've never cared for the outcome.....it seems they all run together making more of a gray stock.... reminiscent of the M40 return "smear" stocks..... while I wanted more of a white overall stock.... hence the reason for the 90% on the other one. Also, the checkering seems to make the stock more dark in those areas. Quick fix on this one was the stripes using Whiteout. They're not on it now...didn't like that either. While we tend to fret over colors, in the big picture, it really doesn't make any difference, but I prefer to look at a stock and say "damn, I like that"......
