Steelhead: What must one do to get the higher resolution images to come through? My photo is about 1/8 of its original scale with virtually no detail visible. The originals are about 8 megapixels and really fine. Appreciate some help as I have tons of images, but have never posted any before.

Wow lots of nice looking stuff.

1minute: Did you get the help you were looking for? If not head on down to the photography section. There are some very good tips from some of the guys that have this down to a science.

ELF: I found info on the submission process, but not on controlling one's resolution throughout. Aside from the elation of simply posting a photo, I was disappointed in what ended up here. Obviously we can not load up 20 mg photos or we would stall the system. My original is a gorgeous 3264 x 2448 pixels with a wealth of detail showing almost every fiber. That submitted to Photobucket was 780 x 585, which is somewhat disappointing but not too bad. The image appearing on Photobucket and at this site is a mere 366 x 275, which I feel is almost a worthless postage stamp. Judging from Steelhead's images, there is some end around process for getting a considerably better rendering to this site. Perhaps he will chime in again. I do have some wonderful full frame shots of several mule deer bucks we took this fall and would like to get them out too. I won't bother, however, if the resolution and size get mangled in the process. Thanks for the heads up and input. I think I will delete my original post just to save some server space. There appears to be a zerox copy that follows. 1Minute
