[bleep] me.

THinking one of the new LH SS Hawkeyes in .223, punched ai for the boy. First cf repeater.

Talk me off the ledge. Would ideally rather a LH 700 retubed to fast twist vanilla 22-250, but dammit...........

Pros and cons on the Ruger.

Input appreciated.

Only two cons to a Ruger Hawkeye:
1) If you have to bed it, it's a PITA, but ND did a really good pictorial about it on these forums and
2) You WILL need to have the trigger adjusted. its better than the old ones, but not good enough...have that done when you punch it out.

Otherwise I couldnt say a bad thing about a Ruger...I see them get more heavy use and abuse in this country, and Alaska that all others put together...

Buy. Run as is in SAAMI. 223.

Open bolt face down the road if the need arises. Still a LH stainless CRF action that will never break.
